The Part of Real Estate Most Agents Skip

New Construction B.A.E

Most people think the closing gift is just a nice gesture at the end. I see it as the start of a lasting impression.

More Than a Closing Gift

When people think about real estate, they picture the big moments. The keys, the photos, the excitement of closing day. What they do not always see is everything that happens behind the scenes to make that moment feel personal, memorable, and lasting.

For me, closing gifts are not an afterthought. They are part of the experience.

Every piece I create is intentional. Whether it is a custom wine label, a set of wood burned coasters, a wood burned cutting board, a personalized apron, or a custom onesie for a new baby in the home, it all starts with the same question. What would make this feel like them?

Because no two clients are the same. Their stories are different. Their journeys are different. And the way I celebrate them should be too!

There is a real process behind it. Designing a custom closing gift, means pulling inspiration from their home, their personality, even the little details they shared along the way. Wood burning takes patience and focus. It forces me to slow down and be present in the process. Creating custom onesies for growing families is a different kind of detail, one that celebrates not just a home, but a new chapter of life. Every piece is thoughtful, and intentional.

And that is exactly why it matters.

In a fast-moving industry where so much can feel transactional, this is my way of creating connection with my clients. It is about more than handing over a gift. It is about creating a moment that clients remember long after closing day is over.

What I have found is that these pieces become part of their homes and their lives. The coasters sit on their coffee tables. The cutting board becomes part of their kitchen. The apron gets used in their new space. The wine bottle is saved or shared during a celebration. And the onesie becomes part of a memory they will never forget. These are not items that get tucked away and forgotten. They become part of everyday life.

That is what makes it special for me too.

I love the creative process. I love taking what I know about my clients and turning it into something tangible. But more than anything, I love the connection it creates. It is a reminder that this was not just a deal. It was a shared experience during a meaningful chapter of their life.

That connection does not end at the closing table. If anything, this is where it deepens.

This is how I do real estate. Thoughtfully, creatively, and with intention behind every detail. Because the experience should feel just as good after the keys are handed over as it did leading up to it.

And if you are looking for someone who sees the little things, who values the details, and who believes your home buying or selling journey should feel personal from start to finish, you are in the right place.
